These Terms apply to all users of the Website, including users who contribute content to the Website. To access some features of the Website and/or to participate in the League, you may have to register for an Outrun Digital or League user account. When registering for your user account, you must provide accurate and complete information.
You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your user account, and you must keep your account password secure. You must notify Outrun Digital immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your user account. Although Outrun Digital will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your user account, you may be liable for the losses of Outrun Digital or others due to such unauthorized use.
You are at least 13 years old. There is no exception to this requirement. In addition, you acknowledge and follow your virtual reality device manufacturer's regulations. For example: Meta or Oculus Terms of Use, Vive Terms of Use, Pimax Terms of Use, Valve Index Terms of Use, HP Reverb Terms of Use.
You acknowledge and follow Discord Terms of Use.
You acknowledge and follow the game ratings of the game(s) you play in any Outrun Digital’s owned, maintained or organized esports leagues.
You have verified for and obey to any additional local, regional, federal and national regulations, to play Virtual Reality games, based on your location.
Unless otherwise stated under Licenses; as between you and the Website, Outrun Digital owns all intellectual property rights, including without limitation copyright and trade-mark rights, in all materials on or comprising the Website ("Content"), including, without limitation, all written, audiovisual or other materials and graphical elements on the Website, but excluding "User Content" (defined below).
Outrun Digital grants you a limited license to use, download, print, or reproduce in whole or in part, the Content on this Website, subject to the following conditions:
- They must be used or reproduced accurately, without any modification.
- They must identify Outrun Digital as the source.

When creating an account, Outrun Digital and Webflow collect your login credentials. We may also collect, when provided, your streaming URL, your public Discord user identifier and your country flag. For the user experience, we may also collect your time zone.

By filling our sponsorship application form and/or purchasing merchandise, products or services such as the "Season Pass", you agree with all the terms below and understand that the violation of the terms or rules in the rule book provided for the ongoing season can result in a disqualification of participation in the ongoing competitions or complete removal from the League with no refunds given to any amounts paid prior.
All parties understand that the League does not exercise any sort of exclusivity contract with any participants regarding esports league participation. All are welcome to play in other leagues.
All parties understand each team must have a minimum of 2 athletes and 1 teacher to compete. The teacher will be responsible for ensuring the team is ready to play and serving as a bridge between the League and the athletes in case they are unreachable by the League staff. Extra athletes as backups are allowed, but additional costs may apply.
All parties understand that athletes can only use original Meta or Oculus virtual reality devices to compete in the League, such as "Quest" and "Quest 2" models. No other types, brands or models of VR equipment will be accepted at this time.
All parties agree each athlete must be in possession of their Meta or Oculus virtual reality device at least two weeks prior to the start date of the upcoming season and must be allowed to keep it for the entire duration of it, just like a textbook.
All parties agree that any team or school participating in the season must have at a minimum 2 school staff or adults available to be contacted by our staff for any League or season related needs.
All parties understand that the athletes must be currently enrolled in high school education. This includes: home, private, public, and virtual education programs.
All parties understand that the athletes must be between the ages of 13 to 19 years of age. Some exceptions to this rule may apply on a case by case basis.
All parties understand that any who wishes to join the High School Heroes Esports League Discord server must utilize an appropriate username identification. Usernames that violate the Terms of Service of Discord will be required to be changed in order to continue utilizing our Discord server.
All parties understand that at least 1 school staff or adult must join the High School Heroes Esports League's Discord Community, and follow the instructions given by the League staff. Athletes and backups are incentivized to join so as for being capable of having more detailed team and games' information that can be used by the school, team's captain, or coach for past and upcoming matches, and improvement.
All parties understand that the High School Heroes Esports League's Discord Community will be used for organizing matches and for communication among all participants.
All parties understand that season updates such as new matches, new brackets, and other related updates will be posted in the High School Heroes Esports League Discord server for ease of access.
All parties understand that the athletes must be prepared and ready to compete at least 60 minutes prior to their respective upcoming matches.
All parties understand that each athlete must have access to stable Wi-Fi internet during the duration of the season. It is perfectly acceptable for athletes to compete from their own homes if preferred, but if any are unable to do so, the school staff or adults responsible for the team must provide a safe space with adequate access to stable Wi-Fi internet, and ensure that each athlete's play area is at least 6 feet by 6 feet for comfort and safety reasons.
All parties involved must not engage in negative conduct. This includes but is not limited to discrimination, racism, misogyny, harassment, cheating, posting of or conducting any illegal activity, breaking the High School Heroes Esports League Participation Agreement, Terms of Service, or Discord's Terms of Service.

All parties understand that season updates such as new matches, new brackets, and other related updates will be sent automatically via email by UGC, and will also be posted in the High School Heroes Esports League Discord server for ease of access.
All parties understand that the athletes must be prepared and ready to compete at least 60 minutes prior to their respective upcoming matches.
All parties understand that each athlete must have access to stable Wi-Fi internet during the duration of the season. All sponsorship applicants understand that the sponsorship is given on a first-come, first serve basis. The League cannot guarantee that all applicants will be accepted. The amount of sponsorships given per season is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the amount of season passes sold, partnerships and business agreements initiated with other organizations, and incurring League related operational costs.
All sponsorship applicants understand that the sponsorships are not distributed until a new season is announced. Upon the start of the first day of the announced season the sponsorship distribution is put to pause until the season ends, and a new season is announced. If more qualifying Title 1 High Schools sign-up than the amount that the League can sponsor for the current season, the remaining can re-apply when a new season is announced.
All schools and/or teams sponsored by the League agree to have their athletes prepared and to deliver the equipment donated to them at least two weeks before the season starts.
All schools and/or teams sponsored by the League agree to handle the equipment donated with care as instructed by the manufacturer.
All schools and/or teams sponsored by the League agree to return the equipment to the League if they cannot participate in the upcoming season.
STATE CRITERIA: Except for those in Puerto Rico, all High Schools from the United States of America currently designated by their state as "Title-1" can apply for sponsorship.
The school staff or adults responsible for the school and/or teams that joined the League understands that the amount paid is only refundable for up to 14 calendar days previous to the start date of the upcoming season and will not necessarily be refunded in its total original amount paid if school or team season-related expenses have been paid for by the League prior to the refund request.
The adults responsible for teams that joined the League agree to either (1) deliver to each of their athletes 1x Meta or Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality device at least two weeks before the season starts, or, (2) choose athletes that already own those devices and are currently enrolled in your high school.
Outrun Digital, LLC Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.hsvrleague.com (the “Site”).
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Items with obvious signs of use that are not removable.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit or debit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at contact@outrundigital.com to receive further instructions.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should contact our support at contact@outrundigital.com to receive further instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
